Mountain bike rides on the Crozon peninsula are not lacking in originality and diversity. Crozon is a jewel that leaves no one indifferent; mountain bike excursions, beyond the sport, are a great way to discover the most beautiful places of a place. The best mountain bike rides to do near the campsite of the Presqu’île de Crozon

Within a 15-minute drive from our facility, you can access five mountain bike trails:

  • Lanvéoc. Located on the southern side of the Brest bay, Lanvéoc is enclosed in the commune of Crozon. This itinerary considered as difficult is ideal for experienced sportsmen in search of strong sensation. Starting from the parking lot of the town hall, you will go for a 23.5 kilometers mountain bike ride; expect two hours to complete it. On the program, 57 % of paths, 10 % of tracks and 33 % of road with many sites to discover all along this coastal path: the point of Pen ar Vir, the cove of Poulmic, the wash houses, the menhir of Kerzuelet or the Gaul bridge… A change of scenery guaranteed!
  • Trémet. Take full advantage of circuit 12: a very easy circuit located at only 9 minutes by car and 21 minutes by bike from our campsite. Leave for a 20 kilometer walk from the small port of Le Fret, facing Brest. It takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete this itinerary, which is full of surprises. You will see many windmills and watermills, sometimes hidden here and there along the route, which makes this circuit so unique. Halfway along the route, the old railroad line will lead you to the Kerloc’h pond, a site managed by the Community of Communes of the Crozon Peninsula, property of the Conservatoire du Littoral (Coastal Protection Agency) for its varied and captivating fauna and flora.
  • Dinan. The circuit 13 starts from the tourist office of Crozon and counts 20 kilometers of course: 73 % of paths, 3 % of track and 24 % of road. Located at 3 minutes by bike from the campsite, the Dinan loop is not very hilly and has a small difference in level, which makes it particularly easy to access. During this 2 hours ride, you will go through the heights of the town of Crozon, which will lead you through the moors and maritime pines to the coast of Lostmarc’h and Dinan.
  • Rostudel. Go for a mountain bike ride on the circuit 14 of Rostudel located at 7 minutes by car and 11 minutes by bike from the campsite. For this, go to the Quai Kador in Morgat for an easy 21 km route. This circuit invites you to ride along the wild and windy coasts of the Presqu’île; lovers of outdoor sports are sure to enjoy it. During your cycling tour, take the time to appreciate the small fishing villages and the megaliths to fully immerse yourself in the incredible atmosphere of these places.
  • Tréboul. The circuit 15 of Tréboul, located at 10 minutes by car and 24 minutes by bike from the campsite, is a rather uneven itinerary which makes it less accessible to neophytes. Starting from the parking lot at the Tal ar Groas traffic circle, this route offers 20 kilometers of riding and 2 hours and 15 minutes of diverse and varied views. We are thinking in particular of the rural and coastal part of the Aber site, which has a certain singularity. Nevertheless, do not venture on the GR34 path forbidden to mountain bikers because of its steep cliffs.

You will have understood that Finistère and more particularly the Crozon Peninsula offers you a multitude of incredibly varied circuits which will suit both beginners and experienced mountain bikers. Sea view, sunken path, changing reliefs, preserved forest, splendid panorama on the high points…. No doubt that you will find your happiness in Crozon.
